That's Manny - the adopted son of our loose-head prop, Tommy. He'll play for sure.

I'm at the back of the scrum, playing flanker - looking upfield.

We actually have three seasons, so more or less all year!

Fall season goes end of August - early November, spring goes mid-February through the end of May, then summers 7s picks up in June through mid-August.

Yeah, that scrum did look like crap. My excuse is that I usually play hooker.

Rugby isn't nearly as big in the US as it is in just about every other country in the world, but it's definitely gaining popularity. There's a number of competitive club teams from coast to coast - our club is #3 in the nation for Division II.

If anyone knows a good live rugby feed I like to know where it is. I love rugby and no cable here.

i can see why its gaining popularity no hiding behind pads and a bit faster than amererican football, i only notice the scrum as i play tighthead prop for an under 18s team over here

Rugby is part of my heritage and my ancestors have played. I know that sounds so cheesy, but it's true. I always had an interest in it and had several chances to play back home in NY, but being in baseball and hockey, I had a pretty full schedule.
