Default twin peaks

so I have just finished watching this whole series for the second or third time. I love david lynch's stuff... sooooo creepy. Anyone else here like this show?
"Twin Peaks" (1990) - Episode list
if anyone cares to check it out. The only episode missing is the pilot episode, but youcan only get it as an import, so rent it or get it on amazon or something. the pilot is longer than the rest of the episodes and is NOT fire walk with me. I highly reccomend watching this. noone else does shows like this

It is a cult classic

It's just a shame the second series couldn't match the first - it's still very good and there are stand out moments but I think due to writing issues it kind of lost its way. Fire walk with me was also a slight let down. I think it would have been perfect if they could have extended the first series to tie up the Laura Palmer storyline and then called it a day there.

Favourite character....probably Major Briggs...I like the phraseology he uses

"Robert, I note your reluctance to enter into a dialogue with me"

The episode where they finally figure out who bob is is awesome.
I think after you find out who bob is things get a bit lamer, but the whole idea of the "occupying spirit" liek mike and bob is so cool and original for a tv show
"do you understand the parasite? it attatches itself to a host and feeds"
"what does bob feed on?"
He is bob! he feeds on fear... and the pleasures"
I also wasn't that stoked on fire walk with me, but it did have its moments

There is a movie, but i cant remember the name of it...it reminds me of twin peaks. The title is __________ drive. its like a murder mystery. there are clues in the dvd pamphlet to try n figure the whole thing out. Maybe its the same writer? Anyone know what im talking about?...sara

the title is mullholand drive. David lynch as well. His style is easy to spot. Have you seen blue velvet?

Strange that this topic came up. My friend has been getting the dvds from netflix for the past couple weeks and a group of us have been watching it. The first season was alright, but a bit slow for my taste. While waiting for the season 2 dvds in the mail I peaked at a spoiler...I don't know if that ruined it or if season 2 is really that much worse than season 1. I might be missing something, but, 5 episodes into season 2 (6 hours worth of tv time), it seems like nothing has progressed and little insight has been given into the conclusion that will be revealed so soon. That said, my friends like it a lot.
