Default Amphibians/reptiles/insects in Sweden

Hi everyone,

I'm currently studying in Sweden under the Erasmus program, but I was offered a position in a research lab and I'll do my master in Sweden as well!
So I'm going to be living here for at least 7 years (I'll do my PhD here as well... I hope) and for me living without animals is a big no no.
Back in Portugal I keep turtles and fish (common stuff), plus D. leucomelas, a crested gecko and a veiled chameleon.
So if anyone of you know where I can find good breeders of really anything (I like every single kind of animal :P ) and/or goop petshops (mainly for supplies) I would deeply appreciate.

Thanks in advance!!!

Where in Sweden will you be staying?
This is key since its prohibited to ship animals (with the exception of invertebrates) over here.

Thanks for the reply Sammie
I'll stay in Stockholm and I didn't know that it's prohibited to ship animals to Sweden, is there any more legislation that I should know?
Thanks in advance

Some municipals/cities require permits for owning snakes (Stockholm being one of them), but that's only a problem when dealing with venomous snakes. The permits for owning snakes is very easy to obtain, I think it's pretty much just paying a small fee.

Other than that I can't think of anything.

You just missed the Stockholm expo, but I thinks it's held twice a year.
Stockholms Herpetologiska Förening

There's HerpersChoise in Uppsala, they also sell invertebrates and supplies online.

Then we have https://www.aquawarehouse.se/ - Aquarium and vivarium online store.

If you are interested in dart frogs in particular I would recommend checking out pilgift.se - Index , there should be quite a few breeders in you area.

For plants I'd order from Germany or the Netherlands. Unfortunately there aren't many good sources here. Although you could probably get plants from local breeders.
