Default Any home brewers / wine makers?

Been brewing beer off and on for about 10 years. Wine and mead for about a year!

Love mead if anyone wants to swap or meetup for a taste!

There's at least a few other people around here that brew. I've been doing it for a couple years now. There's a couple old threads floating around here too but a lot of those members don't post much anymore.

Fun hobby though! Can be a bit addictive. It's funny how you see the cycle of a lot of homebrewers matches the cycle of a lot of froggers.

-Brewers will start with a simple kit, get bit by the bug and go full in to the point where they have tons of fermenters laying around and all sorts of beers aging in their basement... then they either get tired of it or life gets in the way and they will scale back (a lot of them switch to ciders/meads/wines that don't take half a day to mash and boil)

-Froggers start with a simple beginner frog, get bit by the bug and end up with a whole wall of frogs that they are breeding with tons of grow-out containers and whatnot... then they either get tired of it or life gets in the way and they will scale back. (a lot of them switch to obligates that will raise their own tadpoles or just slow down production)

Either way, I've got a pale ale in the fermenter right now, a couple batches of Märzen in my lager chamber and I'll be doing a couple batches of hefeweizen next weekend. I have a belgian dark strong and a kolsch on tap at the moment too.

Got a four tap kegerator and do mostly all grain, though I may switch back to extract because all grain takes so much longer. My specialty is IPAs, and make it a personal challenge to fit as many hops in a beer without getting overwhelming bitterness (personal record is 1.5lbs for 5 gal).
Being a chemist helps
