lol yeah, my grandfather died last week and i need a design drawn up for a tattoo(my first). granted he was full blooded Norweigian but my own heritage is slightly more mixed, 1/2 Norge and the other half is a mix of English, Irish and Scotish and i love Celtic designs. i have an original design in mind that definatly fits my grandfather i just cant draw it up.

Since it's for a tat - find who you want to put it on ya'. They'll do the art for you. I can't emphasize enough: find a skilled, experienced tat artist! Don't go cheap here. Tat's don't come off and a sh*t tat is a bummer!

Have fun!

Jay, problem is i live quite perfectly in the middle of nowhere. even if i get the design i want made up today it will be a couple months before i get it actually tattooed on. i would like the design in hand before heading out the door.

i understand you completly on finding someone skilled to do it. a friend of mine has a screwed up tat that he is still torqued off about years later.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your grandfather. I lost mine last october and he was the purest person I knew, I love him more than anyone else. Good luck finding a good artist, I wouldn't rule flying somewhere out .

I second that notion. I got a bad tat when I was 18. Its not very big, so one of these days I'm going to do a coverup tat - just not sure what I want.

Hey, you could fly down to Miami and get one from those guys on Miami Ink. I watch that every week. and you might get on T.V. !!

i can draw well, but i have never done celtic knots. you can see some old stuff of mine in my gallery. if you can get me sample pics i could give it a shot. i'd try to get some sketches done as soon as i can, but i have a busy schedule and am already working on a tattoo for a friend and some drawings for the g/f.
