Default Sick frog....?

I had a frog died from some sort of bacterial infection. I took her to the vet in hopes that they would be able to bring her back but she ended up dieing. I have always been cautious on keeping my frog tanks clean.

I would like to know if there is something I could do to prevent them from getting sick? Is there something I could regularly spray in the tanks or give them to prevent bacterial and harmful fungus growth? Also if they do get sick is there a "home remedy" I could use to treat them?

Default Re: Sick frog....?

what was the vet's diagnosis?
i personally woudl not treat frogs unless they are wild caught and freshly imported and or are sick or infested with parasites, treatment can be very stressful to the frogs.
Have a nice day
