Default Mix two bold and one shy Leuc? Advice?

I've had my Leucs for two months. Obtained from Saurian Enterprise.
They have each been in their own sweater box for the two months that I have had them. I am ready to more into their new home. Two of them are very bold, strong eaters, and good hunters. But the third seems to be quite shy, I never see eat, but must be.

So my question is would you go ahead and place these frogs into their new home? Do you think the shy one would starve? How about him becoming less shy with other Leucs around? Or move the two bold ones and leave the shy one in his box for another month or so to grow more?

I need thoughts and advice please!
Thank you,

its not a bad idea to remove the two larger more competitive frogs. let the submissive one become more comfortable, gain some size and make sure to put it into the permanent enclosure first. this will give it time to develop a territory so that when the others are introduced there will be less risk of it being bullied again by being dropped into another more competitive frog's territory.

at least thats what i would do

crittercurt and Zoomie like this.

It's really impossible to predict how dominant/submissive they are going to be in a group based on how they are alone. Especially so if you factor in gender. I've had tanks with all males where I hardly ever saw a frog. After adding one female the dynamic completely changed and everyone is active and visible. You might be surprised to see behaviors completely different in a group setting.

That being said, James gives some pretty sound advice. I think giving the "shy" frog a week or two head start is a pretty good idea.

Frogs have it easy, they can eat what bugs them.
