My tropical grey Isopods are munching on my acrylic painted background. Nuke from orbit?

Is this an established tank, or a new set-up? Could they be looking for nutrients they aren't finding anywhere but the pigments?

It's about two months old (no frogs yet).

You could be right. I have some cuttlefish bones - should I drop in some small pieces for calcium?
