Default Urgent! thumbnail escaped

I've been looking for a hour. I moved the tank to the living room when I had to get the room it was in painted. this morning A bromeliad fell over in the tank while I was feeding, spooking a frog in it. He jumped to the floor. I saw I for a split second, then gone.

The tank was by a bookshelf and some clutter because i was in the middle of a job, and hadn't had time to clean up. this is the first time a frog has escaped for me.

If anyone has tips on how to get a tiny frog back anything at all is appreciated. I feel pretty bad about the whole situation.

You might want to delicately canvas the area of collaterals and remove, piece by piece carefully examined items and their exposed places. Start from the furthest perimeter of potential and move in, with enclosure area being "ground Zero"

Have a box big enough to easily eliminate Cleared items. The more austere your process of deduction, the better.

Don't beat yourself up if this doesn't resolve well. It happens, and it wasn't your fault.

Do remember that thumbs climb well -- don't just look down.

Unfortunately no luck...
I covered stuff with damp towels while I sifted through, but unfortunately my my dad found it the perfect time to berate me on how I was doing everything wrong. From using the wrong flashlight, to how I wasn't sitting properly. I'm ashamed to say this, but after about another half hour of it I just left the room.

I came back a while later and went through the rest of the stuff with no luck.

I put out these small 2 inch high microgreen tubs I use for my cockatiel all around the place, and come to check every thirty minutes or so and spray with distilled water. they are still out just in case, but I think it's to late

Thanks so much for the advice, even if he wasn't found in the end.

I'm sorry for what happened. It could have happened to any of us.

It was not your fault, and you made a heroic effort. You did everything right, but sometimes it is not possible for a person to control everything that happens.

Regarding parents: someday you'll be in a place of understanding, where you can look back and sympathize with your Dad's actions and the feelings that motivated them. That someday may be a long way off, and it isn't always easy to get there (sigh...). But that's your task -- to get to that place, and get your head in the right place to be understanding. Judging from how hard you worked to find a frog, I'm sure you have the strength to get to that place.

Good luck, and just like in keeping frogs, reach out to others for advice and help.
