Default mold!

I just set up my terrarium 2 days ago and today a piece of driftwood was covered in mold. (Pic attached). What did I do wrong? I see mold in terrariums as algae in a fish tank. How can I get rid of it? Is it going to cover the plants and moss?

Do a search on here for "mold" and you'll quickly find that most mold in your tank is 100% normal, especially for a new vivarium. It's just part of the tank cycle and will go away on its own. It's harmless to the inhabitants.

Increase ventilation that will help it to clear up.. But it's a cycle just like when a aquarium starts up its cycles.. It's normal for mold to grow that's a vivarium cycle

The mold is not likely to affect the plants. If you want the mold to resolve sooner make sure the tank is well-seeded with springtails. This is good for the substrate and potential inhabitants anyway.
