I have 2 yr old female D. Tinctorius Brazilian Yellow Head who I think was calling last night.. lol I heard this noise and I know it was not my Tree frogs.. do the females call? Ifso, is there a link where I can hear their call?

I was so excited to hear this very low, but beautiful call..and then it suddenly stopped

Thank you in advance.

Either you've got a male tinc or you were hearing something else. Females don't call. Compare the calls from here: http://www.mistking.com/Resources-sp-5.html

I have-

Red Eye tree frog, green tree frogs and clown tree frogs... I've heard my green tree frogs chirp which did not sound like them at all...and I do not think I ever heard my RETF call before.. is that unusually? As for my clowns I've only had them for a a few months and have no clue what their call sounds like..

to my knowledge red eye tree frogs females and males both make noise, i have 2 red eye tree frogs which i believe are females, because of their size and they make tons of noise at night almost sounds like a lil monkey or sumthin but in frog form, kinda hard to explain, my guess is that its a RETF...sometimes its just one loud bark, other times its multible like 5 or 6 little skips
