Default Leuc behavior...Breeding or other?

I got a new leuc today and placed it in the 20 gal tank with another single male leuc. 20 mins later my leuc, definately male, had moved very close to the new leuc and was calling very frequently. It was also moving in a jerky fashion. I couldn't stay to see what happened, but they are back to "normal" now.

The new leuc is supposed to be a male. Could this be wrong? Could it be some territory dispute or is it behavior consistant with breeding?

Thanks in advance for your response.
