Default What is the proper name for SI

I have 3 E tricolor that I ordered from Understory about 3 weeks ago. Understory calls them Santa Isabella, but I have also seen reference to Santa Isabel. I assume these are the same frog referred to with slightly different names. Does anyone know what is actually correct?

First off they would be anthonyi not tricolor. And yes they are the same frog just being refered to slightly different. I have heard people use both as well. I think santa isabel is the one I hear more often reguardless of which one is propper.

Mark labels them "tricolor" for import purposes, but Eric is correct, they are anthonyi. People use Santa Isabella and Santa Isabel interchangeably.

The town in Ecuador for which they are named is Santa Isabel, so this would be the correct label.
