They are a little loud, and for their size, it's very surprising. You wouldn't expect them to be so loud just by looking at them. I personally find it pleasant, but everyone is different. They're really cool little frogs, and I think they're somewhat under-appreciated.

I have 5 in an Exo Terra 18x18x18. They’re pretty awesome little frogs. Their call can be loud to some but I also find it pleasing. Their behaviors come out in groups and you will see them stake their little territories inside of the tank. I have one little fatty who set up his space right where I dump to fruit flies. They really are cool frogs. I’m hopping to upgrade them to a 18x18x24 because they utilize the whole viv.

I had a group of 6 anthonyi zarayunga that matured quickly and bred like rabbits.

They were great frogs: bold, used all of the vivarium, great in groups, ate like pigs.. There are some cool similar frogs as well... I like the tricolor 'rio'. Nish had some 2-3 years ago.

Get ready for tons of breeding. I'd limit tadpole deposit sites if you don't want to be quickly overrun with froglets (though they are cute...)

I have a group of six in my 150 gallon show tank and they are always active and moving around - plenty to see. Mine are just reaching sexual maturity so they only call occasionally - but I think itís a pleasant semi loud call. And they use all areas of the tank - I have one that claims a spot up in the branches and one that has a spot heís always sitting in among the lead litter...

Yes, and they are extremely loud, especially when you have a colony of them going. I wouldn't recommend this species due to their loudness and prolificness.
