Default Did image handling change?

It seems like the way images are handled on the board changed recently. I guess it could be a change in my browser or something, but now some images are defaulting to their full size so they spill way off my screen. It used to be that there was a thumbnail I could click on if I wanted full resolution. Also, when there is a thumbnail I can click on, it brings up this little window that will cycle through all the pictures in the post. Interesting functionality, but it slows things way down, which is annoying. I just wondered if this stuff was something that was implemented on the Dendroboard side or if it's on my side.

Thanks!

Mark

Hey there

Do you have an example of a thread where you are having trouble? There are some differences in how the site handles Attachments (images uploaded to the site) and hotlinked images (when you use IMG tags). We'll take a look at which set of images is causing trouble.
Can you also let us know what browser you are using? Was there a recent update to it?

Dayle

Thanks for the reply, Dayle. Actually, it looks to be browser-specific. I was in Opera and it didn't seem to be a specific thread, it was all of them. Anything that has pictures. I moved over to FireFox, though, and it seems to be working the way I was used to seeing it. The big problem was that the huge images were pushing the margins off the edge of the browser and I was having to use the horizontal scroll bar to move over to hit the buttons that are right justified. This was driving me nuts :-) Anyway, I am good now that I am in FireFox. I can send you screenshots of Dendroboard in both browsers if that would be useful.

Take care,

Mark

Seems like it was browser related, let us know if the issue resurfaces please.

Have a lovely day
