The issue is with an ad they are pushing. Have you reached out to anyone on the admin team?

The issue should be resolved now but if you're still getting a virus warning, please let us know.

We have reported this to Vertical Scope. Again.

Yep, these were the type of fears we had when DB got sold.

Issues that are ignored. The Mods like it no better (probably far less) than you folks.

what type of virus protection is everyone using? I've been thinking of switching to Kapersky because I really like their TDSS killer, but currently use avast

I use Nod32. I've also got the ads blocked, if that helps sort it out at all

I stopped using AVG a few years ago when I migrated to avast. I remember it seemed like it was just sucking down resources

Why don't you guys just hop onto another website before this ship sinks then?? Reading PM's, charging titanic premiums to sponsor, I just don't see the point. Now they got ads that literally steal info from your computer.

I mean how many other straws do you need to go up in flames?? Look at my join date. It's not easy, but you need to stick to what's right. This is NOT right at all.

lot's of forums run into these problems with third party adds. As for reading PM's, I never assume my electronic communications, over a platform like this are private. Why would you?

It's baaaaack. Kind of a pain in the butt having to stop mid-sentence in a post to cancel intrusion warnings.

It's absolutely ridiculous that this is a problem here.

We had it what, once a year maybe previously? Now we're getting it no less than monthly? Opening up the site to more ads (and obviously more suspect ads) is really annoying.

It's gotten to the point that I don't want to come around here during the day on my work computer. I assume they have it locked down but I don't want to be the one to test it.

(yes I am allowed. We get breaks and lunch and stuff )

Yeah, it occurring that often is pretty inexcusable and can't imagine a very good way to promote a forum.
