Default Removing "approval" requirement for sponsors

Since forum sponsors/vendors can post to the Sponsor Classifieds section without mod approval, wouldn't it stand to reason that we should be able to post to the other classifieds sections under the same pretenses?

Site Sponsors should really only use their sponsor classified section of the forum but I understand that you probably have person items that you would like to sell. I have no issue removing the moderation but I would like to see what Admin Kyle thinks.

Typically I would agree, but when I have a single item, or a very limited quantity of a particular product, it seems more appropriate not to clog up the sponsor section.

And honestly - not everyone looks at Sponsors Classifieds.

No idea why.

Scott, I think it's because it's not set up with sections like the other classifieds,
like plants and supplies, frogs, feeders etc.
Just my .02.

The sponsors section is setup for the sponsors, they are free to use the other sections but the sponsors section has less traffic and more visibility.

I don't see a reason to adjust the other sections.

I'm with Scott on this one. Less traffic to me means less visibility. I forget the sponsors section is even there most of the time.

I have adjusted the classified section setting to allow sponsors to post there without your posts going into moderation. Please keep in mind that you do have your own Sponsor Section for posting sales in.

If the Mod and Admins on the forum find that sponsors are overusing the classified they may turn the post approval setting back on.

Thank you very much for looking in to it. I'm sure that the other sponsors and I will continue to use the non-sponsor classifieds responsibly.
