Default tapatalk users asking for location

People with tapatalk keep asking where people are located when the location shows in the normal browser outside the app. Is their a way to make it show in tapatalk so these location posts and PM's can be avoided?

Or maybe a sticky for tapatalk users explaining to click someone's profile first before posting or messaging.

Are you using tapatalk?

Why do I get PM's and people posting on mine and others ads asking for location when it is clearly there?

I was told because with tapatalk you have to click profile. Apparently many don't know this.

Yeah I'm using it. I just click your name and it says location and a bunch of other stats.

I will quote my first post then.....this is what people aren't doing. They aren't clicking to see the location, instead they just think people post locals only ads without indication the location. Now of course some do...but the majority aren't.

I use Tapatalk. I click on your post then view authors profile then its shows you are in Stratford Greg. I guess some are
lazy.

I've posted on plenty of classified ads at this point explaining this simple process to people (hoping that other people won't then PM the seller asking the same question too)... but it sure doesn't seem to be working.

I don't know if it laziness or naivety but sometimes it blows my mind that people can't handle clicking on a profile. It is actually easier than typing a response or sending a PM.

I wonder if the person posting location is actually interested in the frogs or just trying to make someone look dumb for forgetting that. But instead what it does.....

If they're that lazy, I wouldn't want to sell frogs to them...

there are probably lots of people like me who are catching up with some of the new electronics...and finding directions of how to use the various apps, programs, etc. somewhat daunting....so give us geezers a break and just kindly explain how to use these "new to us" things.... And just in case you don't realize it, some of the phones do not come with paper directions! So it makes it even more difficult...just sayin'....

Well as tom said he has posted this many times already. Also....it isn't that hard to see thay no ones posts shows locations....but yet they blame the poster for it not being there.....seems strange. And also that many of the people posting the "location?" Posts are doing it repeatedly makes it seem that they really aren't interested in what is in the ad....rather just trying to point out what they feel is a fault in someone's post.

Haha Judy that is totally understandable... But I think the issue with the most recent case was where Greg posted the ad and I commented on the thread telling people how to find his location in tapatalk... And then he still got PMs about it.

So it seems like people really just aren't reading things... Which I guess means us bitching isn't gonna get us anywhere haha

I think it's also the perennial issue of posting a classified and getting tons of PMs about stuff from people that aren't seriously interested anyway. It's like how people post "pictures please" and they aren't even in the market for he frogs. Just a lack of classifieds section decorum I guess? Haha

oh well... Just chalk it up to one of those "it's the Internet, what do you expect?" Kinda things
