There are several really nice ones, but #6 is exceptional. Very delicate, not overdone. Great variety of textures each of which calls attention to its neighbor.

funny how everyone here with fewer than 5 posts and recently registered, found their way onto the contest to proclaim the most excellentness of image #6....

just an observation....

I love the complicated simplicity of #7. A planned color scheme in greens and yellow, simple see-through-to-the-sky non GS background, neofinetia? and paph orchids at peak bloom at the same time, the tiny intense blueness of frogs contrasting with all. I wish this was a bigger picture, at least to fill my screen.

Tanks 1 and 3 are the most beautiful photographs, but this isn't a photography contest. I vote for 7, it has nice varied terrain. I especially like the overhang and the empty glass on the back. That said, all of the one here have their merits.

I really like number 6 because it has so many blooms in it. Even though some blooms are not showy, I really like it when many plants conspire to bloom together, something that is not easy to do. I really like number one, but is it the only bloom in the tank? Maybe a tank shot would have been better for it. Sometimes one spectacular bloom in a tank is good enough to win a blooming tank contest.
Number 6 seems orderly and picture perfect. I would love to have this tank, only if it were part of larger tank of which the rest was composed of my regular deep dark jungle look I like to have.

I realize this contest and thread is WAY over, but just thought you'd like to know that the flower in photo #1 is an orchid, Dendrobium unicum. Has a great tangerine-colored flower, and fragrant too. The flower is unusual for orchids because it blooms "upside-down"; instead of the lip on the bottom, like most orchid flowers, it stays on the top. The technical term is non-resupinate. Lots more than you probably wanted to know, but , there you go.
