Default Leuc breeding?

I have a group of three standard leucs and will hopefully be getting more. My question is, how old are leucs when they start to breed? Also should I move the eggs or let the parents guard them until they hatch? I want them to do it naturally guarding their eggs and carrying tads, removing tads once they drop them in water. I am afraid the other leuc/s might eat the eggs or tads or might trample the eggs? Also about how many eggs at a time do they have? Any advice or answers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Leucs are generally about 12 months old at breeding age (though this can vary based on nutrition and temps). I find that they can be kept in groups, though they breed better in pairs. If you keep a group, any other females will likely eat the others eggs or mess with them, making it difficult to have tank-rearing of the eggs/tads. It is much easier (better?) to remove the eggs after they are laid and raise the tads seperately.

Hope this helps. Take care, Richard.
