Default Auratus Tadpole feeding

What do Auratus tadpoles eat?

I have 4 of them, one in each deli cup. There is a portion of almond leaf in each cup along with duck weed and java moss.

I have been putting in one small tadpole pellet every now and then. It just sits on the bottom of the cup. I never see the tadpole eat.

Should I stop putting in the tadpole pellets because I think they are just making the water dirty?

Yes stop until the pellet is disolved. Tadpoles eat way less than you think especially when freshly hatched. I only feed my tadpoles 1-2x/week. They can munch on the almond leaf and java moss if they're really hungry

I feed my tads 3xs a week. If you still see evidence of pellets at your next feeding you are overfeeding and will end up with horrible dirty water. Sometimes tadpole detritus may look similar in color to your food but will be long and thinner.
