Lamasi Trouble

I have a pair of GL Lamasi, and i just flooded the tank to see if that would help them start breeding again. I have 2 film canisters in the tank and 2 tad deposit sites. The male calls and the female will follow. They just wont lay eggs. There is a little white worm on the glass right now, and whether she laid eggs and the worm just ate it, i dont know. The male has started to call again and hopefully some good eggs will be laid. Ive been waiting six months, and i know people are going to say i waited 2 years etc etc. I guess ill order some new vitamins to dust with. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

well, i have kept these guys for a while and one thing is that i always find eggs all over the foliage of the tank so although you might not see them they are there, everytime i trim the tank i always find a clutch of eggs hidden in the foliage.

You said breeding again... did they breed in the set up you have them in now? How often and how long ago?

Feed them heavily, and make sure they have plenty of laying spots... these guys prefer plants more than film canisters it seems lol. A nice thick planting will often give them the privacy they like and the surfaces they like as well.
