Default First Morphing Frog

Hi everyone. Thanks again to everyone who has posted and walked me through this whole thing. I've got my very first auratus in a morphing container. I've read the tadpole care sheet but just wanted to double check a couple things to make sure I'm on the right track. The little guy popped his front legs yesterday morning and they both look good, no sls. whew!

With auratus, how soon is it necessary to move them to morphing containers? I waited 24 hours, was this too long in general? Also, the care sheet said they would not be eating at this stage. Just got his front legs yesterday, should I offer food still or don't bother?

don't bother offering food because they absorb their tail and use it for nuitrients for that week or so they don't eat. make sure he has easy access to land by using moss or pebbles or something similair to that and keep the water level just barely high enough for his body to be submerged underwater and swim, that way he doesn't drown. good luck

Wait until the tail is completely absorbed and he's bouncing around on land and ignoring the water. Usually they'll hang out in the water or close to it while absorbing their tanks... then when done they get really active going into hunt mode.
