Default Bastis laying eggs with froglets still in viv?

I have a pair of of Bastis that have now laid two clutches with 3 six week old froglets still in the viv. Is this common and will the adults care for the tads even though other frogs are present?

This very common in pumillio. With my pums, they are usually only courting/laying right before or very soon after they give me froglets. It's a great way to judge when I need to crank out a few more sprintails .
I don't think the juvis will have an effect on the parents caring for new tads, as once they morph out they are left to fend for themselves, but it would be a good idea to pull them and raise them in a smaller encloser to ensure they are getting enough food.
Congrats on the offspring.

Justin

I was thinking of pulling the froglets before the adults move the tads. Thanks for the input.
