Default Bamboo covers for film canisters

I made some of these Bamboo covers for film canisters in my El Dorado tank Pumilio and they laid in them so I thought I would make some additional for 3 other tanks I have set up. They do mold over quickly and then seem to clear up after awhile. I used a couple without a canister as I have heard some will lay in those just as well. I drilled a hole in the top back and ran a bamboo skewer through and into the great stuff background.

Thanks. I used to have bamboo growing in my yard until it became a problem for my neighbors when it grew 10' into their yard the very first year I planted it. So I've been trying to kill it now for 3 years. Most is gone except a sprig or 2 pops up somewhere every month. I tried to get my neighbor to offer these for sale in groups of maybe 10 for $20 plus shipping on here since they came out of his yard and he's unemployed right now but he doesn't want to bother with it.
