55 Gallon Paludarium build.

More plants.
The rabbits foot fern is starting to spread nicely.

My wife asked me to place a Venus Flytrap (though I know it will only last a couple of years or so in this tropical environment). A fun addition and it has flowered nicely.

You can also see the Spike Moss to right.

These pictures show the inlet feed for the filter seen from above and two of the installed misting nozzles right hand corner and center. I have these programmed to go on for 45 seconds 4 times through the day.

You can see that I have the top partially covered (two thirds) to allow some airflow at the front of the tank. This also helps keep the front glass fog free.

My Mist King system arrived and has been plumbed and assembled. I used a food safe bucket, which sits nicely next to the Marine land canister filter.

It took some figuring out but then realized the simplest way to gravity feed the pump was to use a half cinder block which has just the right space for the pump and is a solid as could be wished for.

The timer system for the pump sits nicely next to the dimmer for the BuildmyLED lighting.

I have purposely...

Here it is in situ with some aquatic plants (mainly the "Anubius nan petite") and then some Dwarf Baby Tears "Hemianthus callitrichoides", "Riccia fluitans" and several kinds of moss (I think Java and Christmas) placed to grow in the waterfall.

You may be able to see (apologies for the low res pics taken on my phone) that the bottom right section is somewhat unfinished. I have a surface skimmer down here as well as the heater – this is in the area...
