I'm not exactly sure how this will work, but I'm going to try and write down everything about my viv here. Ad nauseum. Then I'll be able to use it as a reference in the future... I hope this doesn't muddy up everybody else's blogs/posts.

So today I found that I have 1, maybe 2 fertile eggs. They are about a week old, and wiggle when you pick up the canister. I could only see one cause the dude was sitting on the other one, so I only know that one is good.

I reapplied Sluggo today. I put it on THICK, like 1 pellet per 2 square inches. I put some in about 10 days ago and haven't seen any slugs/snails since then. Last time I did this I didn't reapply and they came back in force. Hopefully If I keep reapplying every 10 days or so for a few months it will take care of the problem. My frogs don't venture into the leaf litter anymore and iron phosphate isn't supposed to be very toxic to non-molluscs/worms.

My broms are turning yellow, which I attribute to the fact that I just switched from 4x48" T8s to 4x5 watt compact fluorescents with AH supply reflectors. I think its too much light, not too much heat, but I could be wrong. I'm going to back off the lights. Before I was doing lights A on at 7:30, lights B on at 9:30, lights A off at 7:30, lights B off at 9:30. I'm going to try lights A on at 7:30, off at 2, Lights B on at 12, off at 9:30. I dont know if I need to back off the intensity, but I guess we'll see.
