55 Gallon Paludarium build.

Finished with crumbled cocoa fiber, broken up Tree Fern panels (and portions of the panels) set into black silicone.

I also used ground up red lava rock (the stone mostly used for the waterfall) over the silicone there.

Lighting is the GreenWall Spectrum 48" LED from BuildMyLed.com. This company is awesome and I am saddened that they no longer do aquarium fixtures.

Now that most of the form is in place I took some of the wood I have inside another tank which has plants nicely attached (Anubius Nana Petite) and placed it mapping it's exact position for when I will add these elements once the tank is ready for water.

Hello, This is a document of my recent 55 Gallon Paludarium Build.

Here are my first steps towards building the layout. I siliconed a strip of Acrylic to create a "dry section in the left corner. Then using wood and cork started to build the skelton of the land/ water sections.

On the right hand side I built a column in which drain pipe can run allowing the inlet of my external canister filter to draw water through to be let out of the top of the waterfall. This...
