Hello, This is a document of my recent 55 Gallon Paludarium Build.

Here are my first steps towards building the layout. I siliconed a strip of Acrylic to create a "dry section in the left corner. Then using wood and cork started to build the skelton of the land/ water sections.

On the right hand side I built a column in which drain pipe can run allowing the inlet of my external canister filter to draw water through to be let out of the top of the waterfall. This waterfall is essentially a false roof to a hidden "cave area". I secured the bog wood and rocks rocks with Pond foam, which I agitate while curing to make it very hard and solid.
