Water leak

Posted 08-06-2009 at 05:12 PM by hpglow

I constructed my 60G cube viv out of an acrylic aquarium that had its welds blow out. I re-welded most of it (admittedly I am no good with acrylic and did not build this is the first place.) Then I went ahead and siliconed' the bottom portion just in case. Unfortunately I still have one of the joints leaking a little. It is a very slow drip, but it is warping and staining the custom stand none the less. So I suppose I will be draining the water and applying some more Weld-On #16 to the edge and hopefully that will be the end of that.

For reference here is my viv...
