Default How much water under cocohut?

I just put a petri dish under my Leucs cocohut. I had to use deep side of the dish because the shallow one didn't fit. Just curious, how deep should the water be? Just a couple millimeters to get their feet wet, or should the water level come up on their body? I've already seen two of my guys jump in there and immediately jump out, I wasn't sure if that means it's too deep.

I typically do not put water in petri dishes under coco-huts.
If you have the right humidity in the tank you will be alright.
Hope that helps.

I usually just mist the lid with tad tea or meth blue...just for fungus (etc) prevention, the frogs lay in there whether I do that or not.

Many dart frogs do lay in water. your thinking was not wrong. Just remember, if you are using a coco hut (meaning you have a species that lay under coco huts), no need to use water. If you are using film canisters, some use water and some don't (depending on species).

All is good!!
