I found a tiny aquatic snail in the water pool in my viv. Is it safe for my frogs? I have no clue how it got in there because the only thing in there from the outdoors is the moss that I soaked and the frogs.
You only see one, but many more are to come. Snails are annoying, plus they will eat your plants and the frog eggs. You can control their numbers by putting a piece of lettuce in there to attract them. They will be all over the lettuce in a day or so and then pull out the lettuce leaf. You will have to repeat this many more times.
Yes, snails are no good. Quite the pest. Sorry to let you know your going to have problems. Heres just a few past threads on them and how to deal with them.

LOL Count yourself lucky! I snail outbreak would have been a real pain. Once they get started in an aquarium it's almost impossible to get rid of them entirely. I imagine that would ring true in a vivarium as well.
