Default intermedius bold?

I know in general Imitators are suppose to be bold. However what is your opinion of Intermedius? I have a pair that despite their brom planted, leaf litter, wood, and live plants to cover the bottom are big chickens. Do they call? Yes like crazy! So those with these little guys post your experiences. Besides this thread is a little better than the cross breeding or is that a real blue jeans flame throwing fest of past. Heck might even learn something.

I think it depends on a lot of factors. My varadero imi male is bold, yet the female can be pretty skittish. I used to have a trio of standard imi's that were very bold and little could be done to spook them.

Two of mine are bold and two aren't. The ones that are not as bold are still newer acquisitions, but are getting bolder.

How long have you had them, what's the temp and humidity level? I think these play parts in the boldness of most thumbs. I've also found with my shy frogs that if I mist to the point that my front glass is fogging they become more bold....

I agree with all that has been said...

But I also think where the frogs tank is situated plays a big part in how bold they will be once settled in.

I myself keep all of my current frogs on my big computer desk, which I am at quite alot.

I am only 2ft away from both tanks max, and that close for on average... atleast 6hours a day.

And I always see the frogs, even my little brand new Flav which I have only had since last Sunday.

If you have them placed in a low traffic area of the house they will never become accustomed to human activity outside the tank, so whenever you have to feed, or come to admire them they will hide.

In my opinion putting them in a busier area of the house should make them alot bolder, very fast.

When one tugs at a single thing in Nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.
