Default Under tank heater pad

My room with my frogs gets down to 65 degrees when itís cold out. Is it ok to put a 4w under tank heater on a 10 gallon terrarium?

I use a 20w heat pad on the side of my tank and it gets the job done. If I were you I'd put it on the side, since I don't think enough heat would penetrate the false bottom/drainage layer and substrate layer. Obviously you need a thermostat connected to the heat pad.

Cheers
