Default Growing Moss

How do you get moss to grow on cork bark and what type of moss will grow on cork bark or driftwood?

I just read several post and it sounds like dusk moss and java moss give good results. If you simply push java moss into cork bark and spray each day, will that grow you think.

I've had trouble growing Java Moss in my viv--I think it dried out a bit too much for its liking. All of it turned a brown. I thought it would return after a few days of being moist, but it never did

I have a package of Dusk Moss on the way, I will be giving that a try as well!

If you used dry Sphagnum moss in your viv it might come back to life after a month or two as well. You could try packing it into the cork and wait. Whatever moss you use just keep it hydrated and be patient, it'll grow!
