Default Do tincs climb

I thought I saw this question somewhere, now I can't find it. I thought this was interesting, the tank is 24" tall, check out the little blue guy in the back about half way up. My lrs told me they would not climb that high at all. I see this guy up there all the time. I'm a newbie, everything is new and fascinating to me.

EVERY single frog species does 'climb'

now ask yourself - how much time does it spend up high, and where does it look like it hunts and acquires prey?

Where does it really LIVE ??

I would love to see your setup. I'm starting a 18x18x36 but would love to do a 36x18x36.

When we use the terms 'terrestrial' and 'arboreal' typically we are referring to their habits in the wild. An Oophaga for instance may climb 60 meters up a tree; tincs have been found over 5 meters off the ground, Auratus may climb over 50 meters as well.

Obviously none of us are making habitats that big; a frog in captivity will use absolutely as much space as you give them. Bigger (done well) is better.
