Default Size Matters

What size Exo Terra is recommended for Tinks? 12x12x18?

Id say a 18x18x24 minimum for a pair. 12x12 once you get into plants and background doesnít leave a lot of room for the frogs to move around. Tinks get large for darts.

As Rob said the ground space on a 12x12x18 is pretty small for Tincs, A standard 10 gallon tank has more ground area (not setup vertical). Anyways the 18x18x18 or 18x18x24 would be much better suited for them.

Tincs do like to climb and they seem to like a square tank with equal of each. I've kept my three tincs in two 18 x 18 x 18 tanks for the last 14 years. I would say though that 18 x 18 x 24 would be better though.

They do climb often. I have a group of 5 cobalts 3.2 and they can all be found at different levels at different times. Very busy frogs. I grew them out in a 18x18x24 and I donít know that anything smaller than that would be comfortable for a pair.
