Just one or maybe two more

I have an 18x18x24 Bioactive vivarium that currently houses three leucs and two morning geckos. I have had the leucs for over a year and I have yet to hear one of them calling. I don’t know if it takes leucs longer to start calling or if I have all females. I would like to get one or two more leucs to try and get a male and try breeding them. Am I asking for trouble? Would I need to get rid one or two if I do get a male? Any incite would be greatly appreciated.

I've read here about leucs that have taken two years to breed. Mine (fine spot) took about a year after I got them as young adults, and I considered myself fairly fortunate at that.

Do you cycle your misting to encourage breeding?

I mist by hand each morning. I do have a fogger. I just thought it was odd that I haven’t heard any calling yet.

What I mean is to run the viv dry-ish for a time, then hit them with a rainy season.

Would that encourage a potential male to call so that would know that I do actually have a male?

Leucs are pretty easy, but you gotta do a little reading...:)

Three of the first four threads for "leuc breeding" mention this.

You can always try playing a recording or youtube video of leucs calling to see if yours react to the "intruder"
