New Frogs On The Way

I will be getting four Tiger Leg Monkey Tree frogs soon. They will be housed in an 18x18x24 terrarium. My question is about feeding. From what I read on the website they are eating 1/4" crickets. How many crickets should I give them at each feeding and how often should they be fed? Thank you.

You should experiment adding them so that you don’t have any residual crickets (more than 2-3) in the tank w them by morning.

Hopefully you are getting these from Josh's, or from a private breeder. Asking the breeder what their feeding schedule was can help you figure out where to start with your schedule. Josh's is very good about responding to questions like this through their website.

Yes, I ordered them from Josh's Frogs. They did mention that they were being fed 1/4" crickets.

Yes, I see that on their website. What I mean is that you can email them and ask them how often they feed. Josh's customer service person will talk to the caretaker and relay exactly the info you ask for to you.

You may or may not know that Josh's Frogs isn't some Amazon.com-style black box where products come out of but no one there knows anything about anything. Josh's actually breeds (many of, anyway) their animals.

Whenever you buy an animal, locally or online, the first place to go for info is the seller (and then, yes, you go confirm that info elsewhere). If the seller doesn't know, or won't say, or makes up some generic BS (Petsmart, etc) then a person ought not to be buying animals from them.
