Default What age can auratus froglets start eating fruit flies?

Sorry if this question has been asked before but Iíve just have my first 2 auratus froglets come out of the water today. I plan to feet them spring tails to begin with. When will be be able to take fruit flies?

They can eat Melangoster (small fruitflies) around 1-2 weeks after they come on land :

Do the springtails quickly desiccate and die when dusting them like that?

Good question!

They all get eaten very quickly and never get the chance to dry out or annything like that. The reason is that I olny dust the springtails which I feed to my offspring.

My breeding couples and groups only get dusted fruitflies or sometimes crickets, The other insect I give them are never suplemented. I also make sure the springtails in the breeding tanks always have acces to rasberries, bananas,slices of cucumber, mushrooms... and many other fruit or veggies. These fruit and vegetables are also available for the springtail in their breedingboxes. So their nutricianal value is good as it is for the adult frogs.
