Default slugs or white worms

so I noticed a worm like creature a week ago on my glass. I was told it was a slug. then today I noticed a bunch of them. Whats the easiest and safe cure for a inhabited tank. I do not want to remove the frogs and don't have the space. I haven't seen a post about slugs for a while so not sure if there are any new safe methods out there.

also would they be the cause to having holes in my plants? the leaves are missing a lot of "meat" on them. it seems to be only inbetween the "veins" of the leaves.. sorry for not knowing the exact anatomy. haha

thanks in advace.

For slugs/snails, I've had some success with using the lettuce method (leave a lettuce overnight, and remove any slugs/snails you see). The extreme method would be to CO2 bomb the tank (take out the frogs!), but you would lose all of the springs/isos, though the plants would love it.

Who made the id of a slug? I'm hardly an expert, but it doesn't really look like a slug (though the picture is a bit blurry for definitive identification). I would be more likely to believe it to be some sort of worm, but I will gladly defer to one of the many experts on this site. Granted, it could be I still have PTSD from battling nemertereans in one of my tanks...

Would the lettuce methods work for the pest that you mentioned? I will also try to get better picture..
nemertereans Seems to be the correct idea actually...: hope I can get it under control before it becomes a major issue :/

Doesn't look like a slug. Do a search for nemerteans. Thay may or may not be it but it gives you lots of pictures to compare with. You could also post this in the ID section.

If it's a nemerterean, burn the tank down with fire!

In all seriousness, nemertereans are a particularly challenging pest to eradicate. There are numerous posts on this forum and there aren't any definitively effective method for get rid of them (to my knowledge). The most promising may be the use of larger isopods, orange or skirted.

I would quarantine that tank, ie nothing from that tank (plants, etc) goes into another tank. It will be difficult, perhaps impossible to maintain springtails in a tank with nemertereans, and the nemertereans will also prey on your flies for your frogs.
