Talking Pick The Frogs

I am building a Viv to donate to a local (non-profit) pre-school (Kids ages 3-8) and need help deciding what to put in the tank. I don't want to go too expensive since I have already spent around $300 on the setup but am looking for something brightly colored and not too shy. If I can't find anything else that fits the bill I will just end up going with azureus most likely which is fine but I was looking for something really cool for the kids.

Before anyone asks the kids know the rules about the animals at the school and know not to bang on the glass or open the tanks. The school currently has 3 small birds, multiple fish tanks, fire bellied toads, a turtle, hissing cockroaches, hermit crabs, multiple hamsters, a large parrot, a ferret, and a tarantula.

Where are you located? Chris Luce does Luecs for little ones, which would be a perfect application for this. Luecs are obviously bright yellow, super bold, and a very cool call.

I think he has the kids do some research first, then sends them frogs. I'm working out the details to donate some Luecs to him for this project.

Any other type of tinc may be a good choice too. You also don't have to worry about their calling disrupting the class like you would a calling leuc.

Good point about Luecs. Calling might be an issue.

Talked to their teacher and the Leucs will be perfect. She isn't worried about the noise since its a preschool classroom. She is going to get them to draw pictures next week and send them to me. Now I just have to get this tank put together and buy a couple more things for them.

Such a great quote.

I won't lie though, leucs are going to give those kids a run for their money!

Hey I am in Southern Indiana too, what part are you in? I have not built anything in a while but I am willing to help if it is near.
