Near impossible to pick a favourite, but you just had to tease me with frogs that I want and are unavailable in my market.

Right now, I would say the patricias. There big, bold and never stop eating. Plus the big one in the picture has a micky mouse symbol on its back.

Blue and bronze auratus are unavailable in Canada? I'm sure you can find someone up there with these frogs! Have you tried the Canadian dart frog forum?

Mine is probably R. benedicta 'Shucushuyacu', but it's a hard choice! My vanzos have a really cool personality, though and I couldn't imagine being without them and their beautiful call.

I've got to agree with John, benedictas for the win. I just morphed out 6 babies last month and they are just the most amazing tiny jewels.

One thing that blows my mind about them is how bright they are right out of the water! They are nothing like Amereega, Epipedobates and Phyllobates species who can take forever to reach their full adult coloration. I actually don't have any of these gems yet, but a good friend of mine will hook me up with some after I complete my tank.

FroggyKnight, thank you for that lead.

Everything I have seen has not come close to those in that image. What I am truly after are Green and Bronze and Green and Gold (White).

The more I research the lines, the more confused I become...Wassman, Birkhahn, Panamanian Bronc, Highland Bronze....

It's a good idea to give your frogs a rest from breeding and many people shut them down for the winter by lowering temps, misting less and feeding a bit less heavily. Reproduction is very hard on frogs and by slowing it down, your giving them a much needed break.
