Word on the web is that you can find glue galacs in europe for 600 euros/pair

...and in the US for $2000 (each I think)

One would assume but if they have not been exported who knows, can Brazilians keep Brazilian wild life legally?

Nawww. I posted several sections of the brazilian legislature on the boards a while back, and it is clearly illegal to collect, own, trade, sell, export, trade, etc... pretty much any type of wildlife.

How much/strongly this is ACTUALLY enforced, I don't know. But IBAMA (sort of like the EPA or USFWS) in notorious in Brazil for being draconian. I don't know how often they find out about people keeping frogs (probably because they are tiny and quiet), but they are usually are swift and harsh to take action against people that keep wildlife like parrots.

That is an awesome frog right there! There are some Blues stateside now I believe. $750 a piece is just too rich for my blood for a galact. Especially for unsexed juvies.

People will pay upwards of $5000 for the latest Ball Python morph. I think prices for dart frogs are actually quite reasonable. People that buy a $5000 snake then have to wait 2 years for the female to lay eggs once a year.

Even a $2000 pair of frogs would be more financially reasonable than that I would think.
