Default Eggs directly under lamp

My terribs have laid another clutch of eggs. This time they laid it on a leaf about 15-20 cm off the "floor" of the viv, directly under a powerful lamp. I'm concerned the eggs would get cooked there, so I've turned the lamp off for the moment. These eggs are freshly laid, so I'm not going to pull them just yet- but I want to know if I should keep the lamp off and if I should give that corner of the viv a misting to keep the eggs moist.

I've never had my frogs lay eggs near a heat source before; is there a reason for this?
