There was an article by Tor in issue 2.1 of Leaf Litter about the 'passive feeding' of Mantella tadpoles and the system he designed to work with them. I've been using a similar philosophy in a lot of the riparian type Dendrobatids I keep...a more 'natural' system with a clay-type or sandy substrate, a large buildup of detritus and mould, etc.
