Default Auratus: hidden breeders

I have a trio 1.1.1 of panama 2004 turquoise auratus. They have been bold and out in the open all the time. Until... They laud their first clutch.

Ever since laying eggs for the first time, all three frogs stay hidden all day. One frog guards the eggs in the coco hut, and the other two have dug in and stay under the leaf litter.

Based on behavior, any quess' on the sexes? Why are they staying hidden? Is there anything I can do to have bold frogs again?
