Default H. azureiventris

I have 6 azurieventris in a 29 gal. tank and they have bred before and I think there is only 1 female and at least 3 males. Well when I checked on them a moment ago 5 of them were all piled up together on one leaf is this normal and do you think I could get better sucess with breeding if I seperate the female and a male or just leave them be? thanks for any help!
