Welcome to the forum. Even though you are buying flies at a store, its important for you, for your frogs sake, to learn about the life cycle of Drosophila .

You may think you will never culture your own, even so it will be empowering to learn about the food that you must rely on to keep your frogs fed.

Consider ordering some Rapashy Superfly and saving your empty culture cups. Nature perhaps will take its course from there, after becoming acquainted with fruit flies you might try your hand at making a culture.

Everything you need to know, from fruit fly life cycle facts, to cleaning a used up (crashed) cup, to making a fruit fly culture is easily searched here.
This! 100% this!

Culturing your own flies is easy, and helps ensure you always have flies:-)
