I've had those exact snails in one of my viv's. I had a lot of success in thinning them out by placing a piece of lettuce overnight in the viv. In the morning there'd be half a dozen munching on it. Simply take it out and replace.

I've only found one or two snails in there the past few months. They never did any noticeable damage to my plants.
